Manjot Bhinder is a Family Law Associate with a broad advocacy background spanning Ontario and India.

Manjot is a dual-qualified Barrister & Solicitor, licensed by the Law Society of Ontario and the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana (India), with experience representing clients across family, criminal, immigration, and civil matters.

Manjot currently serves as Associate Lawyer and Family & Criminal Legal Aid Roster Counsel, where he represents clients at first appearances, conferences, motions, negotiations, and other family court proceedings, including matters under the Child, Youth and Family Services Act. His practice includes preparing pleadings such as Applications, Answers, Affidavits, Motions, Financial Statements, and Conference Briefs, as well as providing summary legal advice and litigation support in both in-person and remote courtsettings.

Prior to this role, Manjot operated her own law practice focusing on family law and immigration matters, including uncontested divorces before the Superior Court of Justice and judicial review applications before the Federal Court of Canada. She has also worked in litigation environments managing diverse caseloads, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and advocating before courts and tribunals.

Manjot holds an Honours B.Comm. and LL.B., graduating in the top 20% of his class, and has developed strong foundations in civil procedure, contracts, criminal law, and public international law. He is multilingual in English, French, Punjabi, and Hindi, enabling his to serve diverse communities with sensitivity and clarity.

His practice is client-focused and resolution-oriented, emphasizing practical advice, strong advocacy, and compassionate representation in family law matters including separation, divorce, parenting issues, support, and related litigation.
